UPDATE ON RACHEL

Here is a quick update. Rachel just got home a few minutes ago! She is home much earlier than originally planned! God has continued to prove Himself faithful and will continue to do so. Please pray that God gives her strength before going back to the hospital in 3 weeks for 5 days of more CHEMO. This is the beginning of a long road ahead. God has shown Himself over and over again the past 23 days of hospitalization, both with Rachel, and also with those 2 little precious girls.

We have all cried out to God in so many different ways and days and have so much to be thankful for! Thank you SO MUCH everyone for the babysitting, the meals, and the multitude of thousands upon thousands of prayers going up to our Heavenly Father. God is somehow, someway, going to show Himself to everyone that is in our lives through this journey we call life, and to Him be the glory and honor for ever and ever. He is alone is worthy of all glory, and honor, and praise.

1) Pray that God will remove all cancerous blasts throughout her spinal cord and throughout her blood system.
2) Pray that God will give Rachel the strength and stability of mindset for daily life here at home (The chemo has really messed with her body and mind, it's what it does...)
3) Ask God to give me the strength to be there for Rachel and the girls through this tough time in our lives.
4) Continue to thank GOD for His faithfulness and healing. Remember, James 4:3 says "You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives" We can ask God for His healings and blessings to be poured out upon us when we ask for things with the right motive, and in the presence of HIM. Romans 5:3-4 says "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance produces character; and character gives hope."

Jesus is coming soon! Jesus will heal Rachel either here on earth, or soon in glory. Either way, Jesus will receive the glory. He alone is worthy! Give thanks to HIM today! I have already thanked Him for the things He is going to do. Please do the same!
